BRAINPOP MUSICAL SCALES

http://www.123hub.co.uk/Video-Library/BrainPOP-Musical-Scales.aspx

In this educational, animated video for students aged 7-14 Tim and Moby explain about intervals—those spaces between notes—and how arranging them in different patterns makes different kinds of scales, such as diatonic and chromatic. You’ll also learn what a root note is, how it’s related to an octave, and how you can use it to identify a scale. Plus, you’ll learn how to identify major and minor scales based on how they make you feel—and you’ll figure out what it means when a song is in a certain key. Even if he can’t play keytar to save his life, Tim’s going to put you on the road to musical mastery!
